With over ten years of experience in course development and evaluation, I bring a strong background in visual communication and fine arts. My goal is on fostering creativity in design and problem-solving, resulting in innovative and enriching learning experiences for everyone, whether online or in person.

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of all curricula for all digital media, illustration, bookmaking courses, and seven other courses ranging from traditional studio art to art history.

  • Implemented UDL practices into all my courses, as well as those taught by adjuncts and/or new permanent hires in the department. 

  • Developed the digital media branch of the department, which included grant writing for equipment purchases for digital media courses (cameras, tripods, scanners, etc.) Secured a total of nearly $15,000 in grant funding for purchases.

  • Responsible for collecting data for annual assessment, conducting the annual evaluation of the department and its ability to meet both departmental and divisional outcomes, and addressing any concerns..

  • Consulted with individual instructors within the department on the significant redesign and implementation of existing courses to meet current educational needs and emerging technology trends. 

  • Taught courses in web design, graphic design, digital imaging (photograpy based course), digital video, traditional studio arts, art appreciation,  art history, and more.

  • Served on:

    • 2021-2022 Curriculum Council & Petitions Committee 

    • 2019-2020 Curriculum Council & Petitions Committee

    • 2018 Instructed a Premiere Elements workshop for faculty development, The College of Idaho

    • 2018 Served on the Online Task Force
